EVA 1.0 Robotic Assembly & Welding Complex
The client required high-precision fabrication of structural steel for energy substations. Meeting strict Oil & Gas quality standards (WPS) with manual labor was difficult due to the shortage of qualified fitters.
Manual layout and tacking were slow and prone to dimensional errors, leading to costly rework and inspection failures.

We deployed the EVA 1.0 Robotic Assembly & Welding Cell. Designed for flexibility, this system integrates into the existing workshop logistics using standard overhead cranes for material rotation.
The robot uses laser scanning to compensate for beam camber, ensuring assembly tolerances meet stringent industry specifications.
The system processes a high mix of unique beams directly from TEKLA models without manual programming.
Achieved consistent, NDT-ready weld quality, significantly reducing inspection failures.
One operator manages the output previously requiring a team of 3 skilled fitters.
Automated positioning eliminated manual layout errors.
