QUANT STEELFAB 360: Robotic Beam Assembly and Welding

The System

QUANT STEELFAB 360 is a production-ready robotic system for beam assembly and welding. At the Quant Robotics facility in Kazakhstan, the system combines assembly and welding with integrated beam rotation between setups.

An operator selects the next setup in the software, and the rotator repositions the beam for the following operation. See the recorded workflow and contact us to review representative beams for your production application.

The Solution

QUANT STEELFAB 360 uses the same assembly and welding workflow as QUANT STEELFAB. The integrated rotator replaces crane-assisted turning between setups; loading, unloading, and operator review remain necessary.

Integrated Rotation (360°)

The operator selects Next setup; the rotator moves the beam to the required angle for the following operation.

Reviewed Assembly Coordinates

Scanner measurement is matched to the model. The calculated coordinate transformation is released after the operator selects Continue.

Production Workflow

Coordinated Assembly & Welding

Fit-up, tack welding, and finish welding are combined in one robotic cell.

Integrated Beam Rotation

The cell rotates the beam during processing; loading and unloading remain part of the site handling plan.

Reduced Manual Handling

Automated positioning reduces manual handling during the cycle. Site-specific safeguarding and operator procedures remain necessary.
